it's been long...
hello! Merry Xmas to all!
it's been really long since my last entry! inspired by Ms Karen Ng, i guess i'll try to update my blog as frequent as i can... at least, my dear friends will still be able to catch a glimpse of my life and to know how good or bad am i doing.. :)
well, it's just another 6 days to a brand new year.. here's some recap of some major events in my life for Y2009...
> finally passed my Corporate Secretaryship on my 4th attempt
> my 1st niece who'll greet me Gim Gim ("Aunt") instead of Gu Gu or Xiao Yi, thanks to baby XL..
> upgraded my official status from Miss Thng to Mrs Ong
> 1st trip to Malacca (our mini honeymoon)
> 1st trip to Korea with sis and family
> failed my corporate financial management AGAIN... maybe it'll take another 1-2 tries.. haha!!

hello to all!
it's been uber long since my last post...
been really busy these days, and realised that it's really hard to juggle my time between work, studies and personal time.. been missing my kick-boxing session, felt so bad. so i shall make it tonight!
i've also been busy with preparatory work for my mini big day in this June.. 26 more days to go to becoming Mrs Ong, which is a big step to the next phase of my life! i've been having mixed feelings abt it though.. anxious, excited, happy and sometimes, worried.. is this sorta pre-marital phobia? haha!
Anyway, we'll be having my solemnization ceremony at Peony-Jade Restaurant on 10th June 2009 and celebratory lunch with our immediate family members. Hope it'll all sail smoothly!
here's a peek on my ROM preparatory progress:
- bought my tea dress, heels, dearie's shirt & pants
- hand bouquet ordered
- booked 2-3 tables at the restaurant
- gotten my MUA
- gotten 3 sweeties' hairbands to match my gown..
- invited my solemnizer
- started my beauty regime by taking good care of my face, drinking plenty of water, taking evening primrose, multi vitamins and monthly facial treats
- dearie and I are trying hard to cut cut cut our fats.. haha! which means less suppers, less cookies and chips...grrr!!!
on another note... we've gotten our bridal package too! i admit tt we signed on impulse and paid a deposit already.. hopefully, it's good.. coz we didn't go to other bridal studios to check out their packages and impulsively got this package..
hmm.. after getting it last nite, i actually went online to various forums.. and got to noe tt Jonyces also got the same package. luckily, she assured tt it was quite good and urged tt i shld bargain for more items. haha!

- Tea dress (maybe Kua)
- Evening gown (x2)
- Groom jacket (x2)
- Groom pants (x2)
- Father Coat (x2)
- Bridal Studio make up and hair do (x5)

- 6 Outfit change
- Actual day & night make up + hair do
- Bridal bouquet (fresh flowers, studio & actual day)
- Corsages (x10)
- Actual day bridal car service (Mercedes Benz W210)
- Bridal car decoration (with 2 sets of ribbons for following cars)
- Indoor + Outdoor photography (transport charges waived)
* list is not exhaustive.. will try to bargain more when im down at their store and view their gowns.. haha!

it's been so long
it's been such a long time since i last blogged, many events passed and the busy period is back..
anyway, on those happy notes:-
- the day that i'll officially become Mrs Ong is set on 10th June 2009
- got most of the things settled for our ROM
- 3 of my friends gave birth to beautiful and healthy babies,
congrats to Adelynn, Serene & Lijun
- my buddy, christine & i enrolled for kickboxing
- dad officially become a non-smoker
- 3 darling monsters attending primary school (Xinyi, Leia & Megan)
- prolly gg on a short trip with my fellow colleagues this april
- planning a short trip with hubby immediately after our ROM

the 10 things that i'm thankful of:-
1. having such a wonderful and supportive family
2. having the most adorable, supportive, witty and prolly the best hubby
3. living in a city of abundance
4. going through life (tough times, heartbreaks, joy, love and happiness)
5. having best friends to share my tears and joy
6. that my loved ones are in the pink of health
7. that i've come so far despite doing badly in school
8. to have the 5 adorable monsters in my family
9. having to fall in love with the man of my life
10. to be able to live life to the fullest
